Robyn has been operating Album Memories, her scrap booking and card making business for over 12 years and it’s now the biggest supplier of paper craft materials on the South Coast, including Goolwa ,Victor Harbor and Middleton

Location: If you’re coming from Victor Harbor through the main road through Pt Elliot make a sharp left turn at the Royal Family Hotel onto Montpelier Tce. From the Goolwa direction, turn right just before the hotel. Then take the first street on the right. Look for the cream picket fence and you'll find Album Memories.
                       Look for the banners & signs too.

WHAT’S NEWS IN STORE:

“CLEAR THE COBWEBS SALE”: Sat. & Sun. 2^nd & 3^rd Nov. (10-4pm daily).

                       LOTS of bargains as the shelves are cleared of any stock gathering dust!!

Card making classes: some vacancies exist in both the Mon. & Fri. classes. Both have a monthly theme & each week aspects of card making are covered i.e. stamping, paper techniques, punching, utilizing the die cut/embossing machines. Please book in if you wish to partake in sessions of rewarding experiences & fun, social times. FREE refreshments too!  

Xmas card making sessions on the last Sunday of the month (from 10-3pm), gives you a chance to create different styled cards that can easily be replicated for quick, budget minded cards. Workshops cost $20 + materials. A kit will be on offer in the 1^st session that will suffice for 2 sessions at least.

There is now a dedicated XMAS area in store with card samples, papers & kits etc.

                                        WHAT’S NEW IN STORE:

‘Chippy bitz’ –following the success of the newly introduced chipboard pieces at the recent SA Papercraft Fair, more of the strong, durable laser cut, 1mm thick shapes have arrived & are EXCLUSIVE to Album Memories in SA!! Currently available are leaves, words, Xmas, flourishes, cats, fences, butterflies, flags & pennants + bird cages, along with some intricately designed vintage items such as parasols, benches, wicker chairs, table lamps & lamp posts. A catalogue is available for pre-ordering from the extensive range of items which each come in a choice of various colors.

Top up stocks of the Crafty Stickers have arrived. These are not only great for card makers to finish off their cards, but for scrappers to add fine borders, fancy corners or shapes to their pages.

Foam brushes are now back in stock too along with new brown lace.

Fiskars have bought out a new innovative punch system called AdvantEdge which cuts out deep edge borders & trims. The starter kit consists of  the base unit (in which the interchangeable cartridges slide along) & a floral cartridge + a converter platform so the thin edge border punches can be used too.

Currently in store, there are several deep edge cartridge punches available in Ironworks, butterflies, balloons, cupcakes. Xmas is covered with snowflakes & 2 styles of baubles. Some great geometric cartridges are coming later in the year. Very different to the other border punches on the market & makes punching borders for cards & scrapbook pages far easier. Ask for a demo of “Big Mumma”

as I call it!! See samples in store too. Makes card making SO easy!!

Border strip packs are available in several color combinations. Sticky backed & measuring

 5 x 30 cms they are perfect for punching/die cutting borders or rosettes.

Feature Art (the Adelaide based designer) has produced another cute range called “It’s Party Time”

-          great for embellishing celebratory pages, not just birthdays, or for backgrounds.

Kaiser Craft continues to fill the shelves with new ranges & matching products including 4 Xmas ranges in traditional & modern designs. Their square card & envelope packs are great value & match in with their color ranges. Their FREE workbooks are inspirational & give fantastic ideas on all their new products. Coming in October is another modern Xmas range (Gingerbread) + Lady Rose & Hidden Treasures – featuring Babushka dolls!!   I’m excited by the release of the 3rd Basecoat range ( papers featuring natural & man made textures like various brick work, tree bark, wood grains, leaves, rocks, cardboard, sand, denim etc. These have been very popular & now they have included 6x6 paper pads, collectables, sticker sheets & paper packs. These ranges are great not only for male pages/cards but Off the Page storage projects too. Very rustic!!

Just received from Kaiser Craft is their sneak peak catalogue for Nov-Jan 2014……..

Nov. sees the paper ranges called The Looking Glass, Tea Break & Garage Days (a new male range),  

new “Off the Page” projects to hold their Fusion pens, a desk calendar & 3D lantern (very cute) + a mini bookcase.    These would all make great Xmas gifts –even for yourself !! More background, textured stamps are on offer too + the introduction of the new Captured Moments cards. These can fit in the multi pocket sleeves recently released, & are either in packs of 48 (3x4”) cards or 30 (6x4”) cards. There are 6 themed packs (Snapshot, Here & Now, Getaway, Favorite Things, Happy Days & Dec.25^th.) in each size. Each card is double sided & they can be used for journaling, as an easy embellishment or title/saying. There are 3 sets of the designs in each 3x4” pack & 2 in the 6x4” pack.
