The early 1900s stone stable has been extensively renovated inside and out
out compromising the integrity of the building, The gallery displays the work of the owners George Tetlow with paintings and Erika Inhofer with jewellery as well as other South Australian artists.
Erika's jewellery workshop is integrated within the gallery space. She specialises in one-off designs working with silver, gold, titanium and various semi precious beads.
A unique, tranquil courtyard setting houses a sculpture display which leads into a
large garden and George Tetlow's painting studio, where you are able to see the latest work being developed on the easel. George is a prolific artist with a vast experience spanning 50 years. His visual images range from the figurative to the abstract and are expressed in drawings, oil paintings, watercolours and etchings.
George and Erika happily discuss their work and techniques.
STUDIO 13 is the place to visit and bring visitors to enjoy the historical connection with the early days of the area, to watch artists at work, and to experience the pleasure of fine art.
