STARplex theatre is a large, multi-purpose 1200 seat capacity facility with air-conditioning, Proscenium-arch stage and dressing rooms.

A new state-of-the-art sound system (from EAW and Powersoft) has recently been installed, which was custom-designed using EASE modelling for coverage, and precision, with future upgrades and control options in mind.

As a member of the Adelaide Convention and Tourism Authority (ACTA), the Australian Performing Arts Centres Association (APACA), and an associate member of the Out Of The Square program, STARplex can offer a range of conference, function, performing arts and cabaret shows to both the northern business and community sectors. With the flexible seating arrangement, a wide range of productions, functions and conferences can be accommodated. These include:

A variety of catering packages are available to suit your function needs. Pec Deck Café is onsite and can provide finger food packages and platters, with external caterers engaged for larger functions (or sit-down meals). STARplex Theatre is an unlicensed premise; however a limited license can be obtained for your function if needed.
