South Downs Primary School is located near Elizabeth, a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia.

South Downs Primary School is an R - 7 school situation between the Argana Park Sports Ground and Yorktown road.

South Downs Primary School prides itself on the standard of academic work, student behaviour and the friendly, collaborative learning environment.

The school participates in the Basic Skills Test with very successful refults - Please ask us about our academic record.

Because we believe that the foundations for learning need to be established successfully in the Early years, South Downs Primary School has a number of programmes to help children.

As a R-7 school, students participate in a range of whole school activites, including

• R-2 assembly each week
• R-7 Aussie of the Month Assembly
• Swimming and an Aquatics program for year 7
• SAPSASA (school sport)
• Aussie Sport and Sports Day
• Excursions and Festivals
• End of year concert
• Choir
• Computing programs

Our school grounds are being upgraded continually with new play equipment being installed for our Junior Primary Students.
