CLEAR SPACE ORGANISING SERVICES – helping people get organised right around Australia ABOUT CLEAR SPACE For over 10 years, Clear Space has been helping people become more organised and in control of their time, tasks, spaces, belongings and life, both at home and at work. We teach people the skills and provide them with the practical solutions and tools, and the confidence and motivation to stay that way. We do this via One-On-One Coaching, Group Training and Public Speaking. Rebecca Mezzino is Adelaide’s most experienced and accredited Professional Organiser; a speaker, motivator, trainer, consultant, wife and mother, dedicated to helping people get organised. Rebecca herself was actually born disorganised, but over time taught herself the skills, techniques and motivation to become organised. Realising she could successfully teach others, Clear Space was established. Because Rebecca has been through it all, she knows how disorganised people think, what they feel and experience, and what’s needed to break the cycle and importantly, to stay organised. She teaches and coaches, but also gets in to physically help people declutter and organise their home and work spaces. Rebecca is active in the Professional Organiser industry, having held committee roles with the Australasian Association of Professional Organisers. Also an enthusiastic media contributor, Rebecca has twice appeared on Today Tonight, been a regular radio talk-back guest, and has been published in The Adelaide Matters, The Advertiser, Wellbeing Magazine, The Sydney Morning Herald, Coles Magazine, Woman’s Day, Madison Magazine and The Messenger. Everyone has it in them to become more organised, they just need some expert help, guidance, practical solutions and inspiration. Clear Space improves people’s lives by teaching them how to become more organised and to stay that way. Whether it’s at home or at work, we help people of any age who: • don’t know where to start to become more organised • feel overwhelmed and frustrated by clutter • become anxious in their disorganised spaces • feel they don’t have enough time in their day • have had no success with self-help books • can’t find what they want, when they want it • don’t know how to use their space effectively • need physical and emotional help to let go of items • procrastinate and find it challenging to stay on task ONE-ON-ONE COACHING Naturally disorganised people approach their space, time and tasks in vastly different ways to naturally organised people and they don’t respond to the same change management methods. The key is to address the causes and not just the symptoms, so becoming organised is not about a single, standardised solution. Using a non-judgmental, caring and fun approach, Rebecca works one-on-one with people. The first step is to understand their background, strengths, challenges, learning styles, and specific needs. This enables personalised and unique solutions and systems to be recommended and agreed upon, in consultation. Finally, a detailed yet simple to understand plan of action is developed - which complements each person’s space, goals, lifestyle and most importantly, their personality. There are two approaches available to implementing the plan. You can do so yourself, or Rebecca can work by your side to give you that extra support, motivation and emotional & physical help. Ongoing guidance is always available to help monitor and maintain your newly organised habits. Not only do we help people in their home life, we help them at work, regardless of the type or size of the business, including home-based businesses. VIRTUAL COACHING For those that are a little hesitant, self-conscious or live some distance away, help is available via our Virtual Coaching service. The process and the outcomes are still the same - you’ll become more organised. DOWNSIZING A move to a smaller home, retirement village or residential care facility means there are many things to consider in order to reduce and let go. Using a non-judgmental and caring approach, we help with the emotional and physical effort by working side-by-side with you on one or every aspect of the move, including: Decluttering - we’ll help locate, identify and itemise all the belongings, and decide with you which are the most important to take, so you can love your new home as much as your previous one. We’ll also advise how to redistribute, sell or donate the remaining items. Space Planning and Furniture Placement - we help plan how to best fit your existing furniture and belongings in to your new home and to make the most of your available space. Packing and Unpacking - the know-how to ensure the move is fast, easy and stress-free. Arranging the Practical Services - rubbish removal, repairs, cleaning, removalists, storage, gardening and recommending real estate agents to sell or rent the home. Clear Space will help you with the difficult decisions and the entire move. ESTATE CLEARANCES If you’re needing to clear an estate, what do you do with the home and more importantly, everything in it? Where do you start, how will you find the time and who will help? There are many things to consider when needing to let go. For many people, the task of dealing with a lifetime of memories, personal items and belongings is overwhelming. Who do you trust to take care of everything if you’re not in a position emotionally, physically or because you live some distance away? In all these situations, Clear Space can help with each and every step involved. We take pride in ensuring that the estate is managed professionally and with full transparency. Our staff are experienced in dealing with whole house clearances, police checked, insured and use strict security procedures. We can work by your side throughout the process or you can leave the entire job to us. We provide a sensitive, compassionate and understanding service and the emotional & physical support to make the task as quick, cost effective and pain-free as possible. The home will be cleared, organised, cleaned and left ready to sell or rent. Let Clear Space help remove the stress - and anything else that needs to go. In providing Estate Clearance services, Clear Space works closely with individual clients as well those nominated as the Executors of the estate including Solicitors, Administrators & Trustees and those holding an Enduring Power of Attorney. The role of an Executor can be complex, costly and time-consuming. We can assist in establishing a complete picture of the deceased’s financial position, as at date of death, including the type of ownership of liabilities and assets that is, sole, joint or tenants in common. We’ll help locate the Will, that if goes unfound, means the estate will be distributed in accordance with the laws of intestacy, which provide a particular order of payment. Clear Space will also identify any paperwork needed to determine the assets of the deceased including: insurance policies bank accounts superannuation funds share holdings creditors physical assets vehicles, and Certificates of Title. This is critical information required to enable the granting of Probate or Letters of Administration. Likewise, we can ascertain all debts, loans and liabilities. We also often uncover unexpected items of value in the home. As the home is organised and sorted, all the evidence and documentation is classified, filed and presented to the Executor/Administrator. GROUP TRAINING Clear Space delivers workshops to teach groups of people to become more organised both at home and at work. These are interactive, motivating, fun and informative seminars that reveal simple, effective and ready to use tips and techniques - for instant results. Ranging from 90 minutes to a full day, they all provide inspiration, confidence and solutions to help people become more organised. Class sizes are kept small so attention is given to each participant’s strengths, challenges and needs. They can also be customised to suit any industry, organisation, audience or event.
