Anne Brookman started her furniture making business, Amberwood Design, at the end of 1999. She specialises in tables of all types: hall tables, coffee tables, large dinning room tables, occasional tables, tables with tiles, preferring the simple and elegant styles of the Shaker or French Provincial tradition. Anne also makes cabinets, sideboards, and bookcases and smaller items like trays, desk tidies, mirrors, wall cabinets, boxes, easels and bath mats. All pieces are carefully constructed using traditional joinery and finished with lacquer and oil to provide a durable surface and enhance the natural character of the timber. Amberwood Design is located in a 100 year old barn on a farm at Currency Creek and Anne can be contacted on 8555 4095 or email trelbrook@bigpond.com
