Kathleen Cain first exhibited her work in 1984 and then in 1987 Kathleen held her first solo exhibition. Since then there has been many successful solo and joint exhibitions in most states of Australia and several in America. Kathleen Cain's work has been sold to people from Japan, United States, Sweden, England, Finland and New Zealand and of course Australia. Kathleen's work is recognizable by her finely detailed vignette style on pale grey or blue acid free pastel paper. The use of this paper has become her trademark though today she also loves to work on sanded papers.   Apart from exhibiting her work at her home studio/gallery Mollymawk in Strathalbyn SA Kathleen also takes part in various exhibitions such as at Morpeth Gallery in Morpeth NSW, Boyd Fine Art Gallery at Harrington Park NSW and the Porter St Wildlife Gallery at Goolwa SA. Kathleen Cain's home studio/gallery Mollymawk has a wonderful selection of Kathleen's work from her finely detailed pastel drawings of Australian wildlife to landscapes/seascapes and her exciting new ink/pastel studies.  Fine art prints, cards by Kathleen Cain are also available.
