Carer Support - Northern Carer's Network

Carer Support is located in Davoren Park, near Elizabeth in Adelaide - South Australia.

Carer Support provides:

  • One on one counselling
  • Telephone suport and advocacy
  • Short educational courses giving practical help in your caring role
  • Outings - including Carer's Day Out, to give you a break and contact with other Carers
  • Retreats
  • Pamper Days - massage, reflexology and a beauty therapy, which are heavily subsidised
  • Transport and respite to enable Carer's to attend activiites organised by the Network
  • Ongoing respite
  • Monthly Newsletter
  • Young Carer's Program

We support children and young people in the caring role from 5 to 25 years of age. 

Young Carer's program consists of  -  Educational outings  -  State-wide events  -  Camps  -  Training and educational support  -  Group support (age and gender specific)  -  One on one counselling and advocacy  -  respite and transport

Carer's Support work collaboratively with other agencies to ensure equity accessibility of all services for Carer's in the north.

The Northern carers Network, including staff and volunteers, will make every attempt to provide high quality service and make it accessible to all eligible Carers.  It is not possible, however, to guarantee that all services will meet the full requirements of any individual as resource restrictions often dictate the nature of services.

All personal information is treated in strictest confidence and disclosed to other agencies only with your verbal or written consent.
