Enfield Gem and Mineral Club Inc

The Enfield Gem and Mineral Club carries out many activities of value to those interested in minerals, crystals, fossils, and the earth sciences.

The club holds weekly workshops where classes and instructions re given. We also hold Competitions, Displays, Field Excursions, and have Guest Speakers. 

You may wish to learn how to:

• Cut and polish Minerals
• Create Displays of Minerals
• Find Minerals in their natural state

Activity Times and Dates 

Field Trips: The Enfield Gem and Mineral Club holds field trips on the 3rd Sunday of each month where possible.

The field trips may be a local day trip, a few days on a long weekend or longer trips interstate.

There are many practical skills to learn

Many objects can be created from the items collected on these trips.

If you like fresh air and making new friends in a social environment, the monthly field trips to collect your own specimens are of great value.

Many members attend the annual gathering of Gem Clubs, called the Gemboree. These are held in a diferent state each year.
