Unique Gourmet Cheese

Alex and Ray Deionno, proprietors of the Murray Valley Cheese Company Murray Bridge, have been dairy farmers since 1972.

Their milk won the Weekly Times milk quality awards in 2003 and 2004.

Under the category of Hard Grating – non Cheddar Cheese the brothers won bronze at the Royal Queensland Show and Silver at the Royal Adelaide Show.

Currently Murray Valley Cheese is using only 40% of the milk it produces on the dairy.

We are HACCP accredited by the Dairy Authority with audits every 6 months.

FETTAMurray Valley Cheese Company plain style fetta is creamier, mild in flavour, low in salt and firm. Flavoured varieties are Lemon Pepper, Chilli and Oregano and all seasoned styles are marinated in extra virgin olive oil. Plain fetta is vacuum packed in 250gms and 3kg and 8 kg buckets. Seasoned styles are available as cubes in small 250gm tubs.

PARMESAN STYLEMurray Valley Cheese Company Recipe. A fresh, hard table cheese ideal for grating over soups or pasta, or with wine and biscuits. This is supplied in vacuum packed wedges, or grated and shredded in 200g, 500g and 1kg packs. Parmesan seasoned styles are available in Chilli, Whole or Cracked Peppercorns.

PECORINO STYLEMurray Valley Cheese Company Recipe. Our Sharp full-bodied full-flavoured hard cheese ideal for food platters is supplied in wedges or grated and shredded in 200gm tubs. Our seasoned Pecorino is available with Chilli, Cracked or Whole peppercorns.

RICOTTAMurray Valley’s Ricotta is an unripened, smooth, neutral, reduced fat, high protein cheese which can be used for sweet and savoury dishes or eaten uncooked. Our Ricotta is excellent in cheesecakes and sweet and savoury dips. Packaging is in 500gm tubs and 3kg- 5kg vacuum packed blocks.
